The timeless beauty of natural wood grain and quality of workmanship
combine to offer a most personal 'laptop' labyrinth experience.
Artisans use modern CAD/CAM technology combined with hand-sanding and
some good old-fashioned loving obsession-with-detail, to make the most
accurate replications of the Chartres labyrinth available anywhere.
Computer controlled equipment carves the pattern of the Chartres
Labyrinth, including all the finer details. They are then hand-sanded
and finished with a clear satin finish allowing the beautiful wood
grain to show through. The grooved pathway guides you to the circuitous
pathway to the center and out again.
Measuring 18 inches across, these labyrinths are available in octagonal
or circular shapes and are equally useful as art pieces. Each has a
slot for hanging in the back. The following woods are available in both octagonal and circular forms:
- Cherry (shown octagonal)
- Walnut (shown round)
- Maple (shown round)

Finger labyrinths are not new. They have been used as a spiritual tool
for many centuries. The Lucca Cathedral, built in the late 12th or
early 13th century, has a 20-inch finger labyrinth chiseled out.
Parishioners today still trace the labyrinth with their finger as they
enter.
Please note that since these labyrinths are made from natural materials, there will be color variations. |
