This icon depicts the majesty of Christ.  Pantocrator means "Ruler of All".  This image first appeared in the early Christian Church and it remains a central icon of the Eastern Orthodox Church.  His right hand blesses while His left holds the Bible.

The artist, Robert Lentz, ofm, is a Franciscan friar currently stationed in Houston, TX.  His work is known around the world and reflects his experience among the poor in this country and in the Third World.

Mounted on a one-half inch thick wooden plaque, this icon has beveled edges and a satin finish.
