This unique rendition of the Chartres Labyrinth was painstakingly made by inlaying genuine mother-of-pearl onto a hardboard base and then hand lacquered.  Each piece takes many days to complete and is beautifully framed using old, recycled teak wood or jackfruit wood.  It is packaged in a hand-plaited dried rush box.

The designer and producer of these fine works, Don Harper, deals in Indonesian art and has lived in Java for many years.  There he has a studio with a team of traditional crafts people who produce these remarkable works which are inspired by his love for classical designs.
