This extraordinary teak wood rendition of the Chartres Labyrinth was expertly carved in Jogjakarta, Central Java by master woodcarvers after which it was gilded by hand using genuine 23.5 kt gold leaf.  The piece is framed in teak wood and packaged in a hand-plaited dried rush box.

The designer and producer of these fine works, Don Harper, deals in Indonesian art and has lived in Java for many years.  There he has a studio with a team of traditional crafts people who produce these remarkable works which are inspired by his love for classical designs.
