This glass, circular pendant features the Chartres labyrinth design.  Each pendant comes on a 20 inch cord with clasp and a small bead (colors and shapes vary) at the top of the labyrinth.

Approximately 2 inches in diameter

This Fair Trade item is handmade in Ecuador by a native art company using a fused glass method.  Fusing glass is a technique used to obtain homogeneous glass layers by means of the fusion of different layers of glass which must have the same coefficient of expansion (the rate at which the glass expands). Melting and molding the glass creates spectacular pieces of art.  Part of its beauty is that the results are not totally predictable and may include bubbles within the glass. Each piece is a unique and exotic example of art.  Not two pieces are the same.
