This plaque is handmade by skilled craft-workers in County Cork, Ireland and any variations in the finish are part of its unique appeal. The eminent psychologist, Carl Jung, had this carved in Latin over the front door of his home in Zurich. It also appears on Jung's tombstone.

This piece has a shell of pure cast iron backed by a resin and ceramic core. It has a hanging cord on the back.

Caring for your Wild Goose plaque or object
All Wild Goose Studio plaques and objects are handmade by skilled craft-workers and any variations in finish are part of its unique appeal. Each Wild Goose piece has a shell of pure cast iron or bronze backed by a resin and ceramic cores. Wild Goose cast iron pieces are for indoor use only. Wild Goose bronze pieces can be placed outdoors where they will acquire a green patina over time. Both can be left to age naturally or polished occasionally with a soft cloth and beeswax to retain their shine.
