The Grace Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys began in 1913. The Cathedral School for Boys was founded on the precincts in 1957, creating a union of school and cathedral that has enabled the choir to attain its present standard of singing. The full choir of men and boys sings the principal service on Sundays at 11 a.m., evensong on Thursdays at 5:15 p.m., and for special services.
